ECO FLEXI SOLAR SUITCASE Sunforce 50044 60-Watt Solar Charging Kit

www.elperfecto.com My 1999 Ford Ranger had a dead battery and would not start. It has an old 12V battery that should be replaced. In the meantime, to get the truck running again, I connected a solar panel to bring the truck back to life.

This Mitsubishi panel has an open circuit voltage of 22V and is rated at 120W. Thanks for watching.

You know that you probably could attach the panel in the bed of the truck, and permanently wire it in. Never a dead battery again! Hot in FL. Sam

I might just do that! I have been thinking the same thing. I used to keep a small 4W panel in the back window to keep the battery trickle-charged. My truck must have an electrical problem because I have had troubles keeping the battery charged. I’m not sure if this is related, but sometimes the truck thinks the door is “ajar” even when both doors are closed. If I use your idea, I’ll make a video. Thanks.
