One Response to “How many kilowatt hours does a 180 watt solar panel produce in one month?”

If you are getting 8 hours of sunlight a day, but not all of them direct sun, then the average power output is perhaps 90 watts or lower.

    that’s 90*8 = 270 watt-hours. For 30 days that is 8100 watt-hrs or 8.1 kw-hrs.

I think the actual numbers will be a lot lower. There are cloudy or rainy days with no sun, and the output of the panel will be very low at sunset and sunrise.

Any time a tree branch blocks part of the array, you get zero out, the entire panel has to have sun shining on it.

Probably 4 kw-hrs is the best you can get in a real life situation, with a good location.
